MAPCODE is 6-12 digits number and you can input it to the car navigation system(GPS) instead of the address. 

Due to below good points, it makes your travel more convenient and smooth than just using Google Map.

Japanese address and spots names are complicated and it is irritating to type it to the car navigation system.

And some sightseeing spots have totally same names. It may be not easy for you to choose correct destination from the list of spots which have the same names.

MAPCODE can identify a specific cell of 9 square meters(3m x 3m) and are more accurate than address or spot name.

If you search a place on Google map, they will guides you to the center of the spot. You need to search car park from there.

It is a very famous shrine in Kyushu.
